Now it starts.  Too much to keep up with in Wisconsin, and that is one nice problem for an outdoorsman.     A Learn to Hunt program was held the weekend of April 4-6 sponsored by the Taking Wing Stewardship program at Triple J Wing and Clay in southern Brown County.  The 36 participants all had mentors to help them try to bag their first turkey.  As you can see by the photo, the weekend was a success despite the cold and snow.

    Make sure you practice shooting the same way that you will be shooting when you are calling, sitting-prone,  ect…  PRACTICE. If you decide to call this time of year, get close to the den and do a couple of howls or pup in distress calls.   If I am aftera problem coyote, I leave them alone till the fall.
