    On August 14, Wildlife Services confirmed that wolves depredated a hound engaged in bear training activities.  A caution area map and more information is available on the gray wolf website or by going to the DNR website (dnr.wi.gov) and typing "wolf management" in the search box.

    A four-mile caution area has been created around the August 5 depredation site of a bear hound.  On August 7, Wildlife Services confirmed that wolves depredated the hound that was involved in bear training activities.  A map and other details are found on the DNR's dog depredation webpage or go to dnr.wi.gov and search "wolf management".
