Now that cooler weather has finally arrived, it's time to think about getting ready for the coming hunting season. Here are a few upcoming activities you may be interested in here at Wern Valley!
8-Week Fall Sporting Clays League
Starts Wednesday, September 5th. Eight scores can be shot any Wednesday, Thursday, or Saturdays in September or October. You can have 4-7 shooters per team, and there is no team sponsor fee. Open shooting is also available on those days as well.
The Club has the following shoots coming up:
Sat. Aug 25- Wisconsin Waterfowl Association 50-Bird State Shoot

Sat. Sept 8- 100 NSCA Registered Sporting Clays & 50 5-Stand
Game Bird Open House
The Club will be receiving its last shipment of day-old pheasant chicks this week. If anyone is interested in seeing the young chicks and other birds in various stages of growth, the Open House will be this coming Saturday at 1:00 pm. Meet at the Clubhouse.
Loyall Dog Food Now Available
As a new service for Club members, Loyall Dog Food is now available at Wern Valley. The kinds available for purchase are:
Professional- 50 lbs. for $43.50
Puppy- 40 lbs. for $31.50
Adult Maintenance- 40 lbs. for $26.25
Adult Active- 40 lbs. for $29.50
Lamb & Rice Formula- 40 lbs. for $32.50
Senior Formula- 40 lbs. for $33.00
Training Birds Available
Live Chukars ($8) and Hen Pheasant ($10) are now available to Club members for dog training. Wings and whole frozen birds (post kills) are sometimes available as well.
