Here are answers to some of the recent most frequently asked law enforcement questions taken this week by the DNR Call Center.
The Call Center is staffed daily, 7 a.m. – 10 p.m., and offers bilingual service in Spanish and Hmong. The number is 1-888-936-7463
Question 1: When are the antlerless deer permit going on sale?
Answer: Deer permits will go on sale on August 18 at 10 a.m. Learn more: http://dnr.wi.gov/Permits/bonusavailability.html
Question 2: When is the wolf application going to be available? When are they due?
Answer: Applications will be available from August 1 - 31 at the cost of $10 to go into the drawing for a permit. The season will run from October 15 – February 28, 2013. Learn more: http://dnr.wi.gov/news/BreakingNews_Lookup.asp?id=2439.
