Happy New License Year; Check your license for correct address
April 1 marks the start of the new license year for all Department of Natural Resources fishing and hunting licenses.
That means the license you purchased in 2012 has now expired and if you plan to fish and hunt again this year, you can buy whatever license you need for the 2013-2014 seasons. Licenses are valid through March 31, 2014. You may purchase your license at any of the more than 1,300 license agents statewide or through the DNR Online License Center at dnr.wi.gov.
If you are a multi-season hunter and angler, consider purchasing the Conservation Patron. For $165, you can fish in all Wisconsin waters, hunt deer, small game, waterfowl and upland game birds. An annual state park admission sticker, access to all state trails and a subscription to Wisconsin Natural Resources magazine is included. Junior ($75), Nonresident ($600) and Nonresident Junior ($77) Conservation Patron licenses are also available.
Check your license addresses
All license buyers are reminded to review the home address shown on the license purchased from agents. If it is not correct, the agent can change it on the terminal. Or, the license holder may make the correction through the Online License Center or DNR Call Center at 1-888-936-7463.
The address on the license must be correct to ensure the holder receives notification if they are a permit winner in any of the drawings.
The DNR wishes you a fun, successful and safe 2013-2014 outdoor season.
