Hunting Season Safety for Non-Hunters

No person would like to get shot during hunting season, but should this keep you out of the woods, grasslands and waterways from September until February?
Spend the day with WDNR Conservation Warden David Youngquist and outdoorsman Roger Reynolds learning about what Non-Hunters can do during the hunting seasons to be safe when out in nature.
9 am -3 pm: Topics will include: accidental shooting facts/statistics, how far bullets travel, types of firearms, bullet size, hunting seasons, wearing blaze orange, livestock & pet safety, and more. Ammunition and firearms will be on display.
3 pm - 5 pm: Your chance to shoot a firearm, under the supervision of experienced folks. ($5 fee)

(Presentation and discussion--No Charge, donations appreciated)
3 pm - 5 pm: Shooting demonstration and shooting a firearm option, $5 fee

Children under 18 will need to be with an adult! This is a full day class, and is designed more for adults than children.
