Deadline to apply for DNR chief warden position is August 5

Those interested in becoming the next chief conservation warden of the Department of Natural Resources’ Bureau of Law Enforcement have until August 5 to apply for this leadership position.

The chief warden position will open later this year after Chief Randy Stark, who has led the state’s conservation warden service for more than a decade, will cap his nearly 30-year public service career with the Bureau of Law Enforcement.

The person selected for this critical leadership position will lead more than 300 personnel dedicated to the protection of the state’s natural resources and the people who enjoy them.
