Wisconsin Bat Fest flies into Milwaukee Aug. 26

Bat festival offers fun and learning in a stellar setting

See bats from around the world up close, including one with a six-foot wingspan, and enjoy hands-on activities and interactive displays at the Wisconsin Bat Festival onSaturday, Aug. 26, at the Mitchell Park Conservancy (The Domes) in Milwaukee.

The event runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is FREE with general admission to the Domes, located at 524 S. Layton Blvd., Milwaukee, WI 53215. Stick around for our Science Night from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and watch our bat biologists demonstrate the methods they use to study bats to better understand their habitats and habits.

Volunteers needed for Wisconsin Bat Festival

You don't need to be a bat expert-- just lend your enthusiasm and/or expertise about bats. In particular we're looking for volunteers who love to interact with children and families.

All scheduled volunteers will receive FREE ENTRY into The Domes and Festival the day of the event and will receive a FREE Wisconsin Bat Festival t-shirt.
