Whitefish Emergency Rule Adoption at April NRB Meeting

MADISON, Wis. – Additional agenda items are now available for the upcoming Wisconsin Natural Resources Board virtual meeting on April 14, 2021. 

Agenda items 4C, 4D supporting document, and 4F have been posted to the April NRB meeting agenda. The complete April NRB meeting agenda is available on the DNR website here

The Natural Resources Board will consider adopting a Lake Michigan whitefish emergency rule (item 4F on the agenda) on April 14, 2021.  The rule would address commercial whitefish quotas and associated regulations in Green Bay.  Please see below for additional information on viewing the materials and commenting on this item. 

Please note that the deadline for remote public appearance requests and written comments is 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 7, 2021. 

Although the public will not be allowed to attend the meeting in-person due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the public can watch the April board meeting on the DNR’s YouTube channel
