Warden Wire: New WDNR warden taps recruit training in fast rescue of canoeists

When WDNR Conservation Warden Aaron Koshatka was a recruit in August 2018, he responded with other wardens to a rapidly flooding Crawford County community to perform dangerous night rescues. He learned a lot during the perilous missions. Those lessons were in action when Warden Aaron responded to a May call to rescue canoeists in trouble at Lake Hayward.
