Free Fishing Weekend is a statewide event occurring this weekend, January 19 & 20, 2019, and a few special clinics are planned to introduce people to ice fishing. Contact event sponsors for updates and possible cancellations during this fickle winter.
Call on a friend and invite him or her out to give it a try.
Please be aware of potentially changeable ice conditions before venturing out. Ice should be at least 4" thick for safe foot travel.
