WDVA to Announce Veteran Suicide Prevention Plan at Annual Conference
Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs (WDVA) Secretary John A. Scocos will announce a new initiative to help individuals identify military veterans who may be contemplating suicide Friday, October 15, 2016 from 8:15 until 8:45 a.m. at the Country Springs Hotel in Pewaukee.
Secretary Scocos will make the announcement at the WDVA Mental Health Summit and Veterans Stakeholders Symposium.
To kick off the initiative, the announcement will be followed by a training session at10:15 a.m. for attendees.
