Photo courtesy Tom Gibson Training is set for April at four regional locations for volunteers interested in searching Wisconsin’s best remaining prairies, savannas and cedar swamps for lost treasure – 322 species of rare plants. From delicate orchids to python-like parasitic plants that strangle their hosts, volunteers for the Rare Plant Monitoring Program will get to see unique flora up close in some of Wisconsin's most spectacular settings. |
