Video footage of elk release in Jackson County now available
MADISON - Elk from Kentucky have reached their new home near Black River Falls, Wis. in the second year of elk reintroduction efforts<http://walker.wi.gov/newsroom/press-release/governor-scott-walker-announces-arrival-39-elk-jackson-county> in partnership with the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife and a number of other key stakeholders.
For Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources video footage of the release, please visithttp://ftp.wi.gov<http://ftp.wi.gov/> and follow the directions below:
· enter “anonymous” as your username;
· enter your email address as your password;
· select DNR from the agencies listed; and
· select the "public" folder and open the "video" file.
To access elk footage, select the file titled “Elk 2016 Media Package.” For a still photo, select “elk pic 1.”
NOTE: If using Internet Explorer, select the "page" tab found on the tool bar in the upper-right corner and select "open FTP site in windows explorer."
