Traveling this summer? We have you covered.

Hey, summer vacationers!

Did you know that traveling to an area with Zika virus no longer prohibits you from donating blood?

We automatically test all donations for Zika, so don’t let your summer travel plans stop you from saving a life!

Zoe is a sweet, bubbly little girl who loves to sing and dance.
She has a congenital heart defect, and has endured multiple surgeries and too many hospital stays for such a young child. But her family remains grateful – grateful to have their strong little girl, and for the blood donors who have provided the many transfusions that Zoe has needed. Her mom, Kaleena, says, "People who don’t even know my daughter have helped keep her alive. I am so thankful."

BloodCenter of Wisconsin serves more than 50 hospitals across Wisconsin. It’s our mission to ensure hospitals are supplied with enough blood to meet patient need.
