When you plan your winter getaways you should think of Ferryville, WI 54628 and especially Saturday, March 7, 2020. Ferryville Tourism Council and Friends of Pool 9 (the section of the Mississippi River between Lynxville, WI and Genoa, WI is Pool 9) is a must. The program – free of charge - is held at the Ferryville Village Hall/Community Center/Fire Dept. located at 170 Pine Street, Ferryville, WI (Pop. 182). This Eagle Day program is fun, educational and there is something for everyone.

There will be treats, eagle nest building for kids, a hooting contest with awards, presentations by the Decorah, IA Raptor Resource Project – Director John Howe, Amy Reis and staff talking about rehabilitating injured eagles, preserving habitat and more.
