Special Canoe Reveal Dec 11th | 11am Explore La Crosse has partnered with local canoe builder, Sanborn Canoe Company, for its 2019 Marketing Campaign: “Boatload of La Crosse County”. This campaign continues to offer visitors the opportunity to win authentic experiences and products from La Crosse County and surrounding communities.
Explore La Crosse will receive Sanborn Canoe’s newest 14 ft. canoe model including cherry seats and yoke, with the inclusion of the Explore La Crosse logo wood-burned into the deck.
One winner will be chosen each month to enjoy a stay in La Crosse County along with the contents of the boat. The contents of the boat will vary and may include festival or performance tickets, shopping packages, restaurant gift certificates, attraction tickets, and local products and goods. 12 monthly finalists will be entered into the final drawing for the Sanborn Canoe with the canoe winner being drawn in late December 2019.
A press conference and canoe reveal will take place Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at 11am at the WisDOT Rest Area 31 off I-90 in La Crosse, WI.
Partners to-date include the La Crosse Community Theatre, La Crosse Symphony, Downtown Mainstreet, Inc., Pump House Regional Art Center, Valley View Mall, and more. Organizations and businesses interested in participating may contact hanifl@explorelacrosse.com.
