RMEF Offers Condolences to Morgan Family

MISSOULA, Mont.—The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation joins the family and friends of country singer Craig Morgan and wife Karen Greer in mourning the passing of their 19-year-old son Jerry Greer. Greer died in a boating accident in Tennessee over the weekend.

“We send our thoughts and prayers of comfort to Craig, Karen and their family,” said David Allen, RMEF president and CEO. “Craig is a long-time friend and supporter of the RMEF. We grieve with him, Karen and their children over this devastating loss.”

Morgan is an avid hunter and member of RMEF Team Elk. He performed at a number of RMEF functions over the years including at its last national convention in December of 2015.

Greer was a recent graduate of Dickson County High School where he was a standout athlete and well-liked by his classmates. He planned to play football for Marshall University this fall.

In addition to his mother and father, Greer is survived by his sister Alex and brother-in-law Ryan Beaird, brother Kyle and fiancée Chelsea Rogers, and brother Wyatt.
