1.     Ice Fishing Jamboree

February 10, 2018, 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM @ Little Spirit Lake Boat Landing, SE of Ogema,

No entry fee, cash prizes; brats, chili and refreshments will be available to the public starting at 11 a.m. in a heated shelter. Raffle tickets – $2.00 each or 3 for $5.00; prizes – 1st – $300, 2nd – $200, 3rd – $100, 4th – $50, 5th – $50; ticket drawing at boat landing at 3:30 p.m.; about ten (10) miles south east of Ogema.

2.     Park Falls Sno Ball Concert

February 10, 2018, 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM @ Park Falls American Legion Hall,

Come in out of the winter cold and warm up with some great music from TWISTED WHISKER and FLASHBACK. The Bands will be playing two 90 minute sets with a break in between for a good old-fashioned catered-in country dinner.

3.     Northwoods Hi-Riders Valentine's Day Dance & Raffle

February 10, 2018, 5:00 PM - 10:00 PM @ Roll-In Point on Solberg Lake,

Join the Northwoods Hi-Riders Snowmobile Club and dance the night away while participating in raffles for prizes. Located on Trail #116 northeast of Phillips. This is a snowmobile club fundraiser and everyone is welcome to attend. All proceeds will go towards trail maintenance, club expenses, or to local non-profit organizations.

4.     "Scarborough Fair" presented by Woods & Waters Fine Arts Council

February 15, 2018, 7:00 PM @ Chequamegon High School,

From their mesmerizing rendition of "Sound of Silence" to their playful version of 'Cecilia', prepare to fall in love again with the music of Simon & Garfunkel. The Guthrie Brothers take audiences on a journey of one of the world's most recognized folk rock duos. Through songs, stories and trivia, Jeb and Jock blend their rich voices together to weave an enjoyable tapestry that leaves every audience member smiling and singing along! This performance is part of a Concert Series, and ticket purchase includes membership and admission to eight (8) concerts.

5.     Elk River Pioneers Poker Run & Picnic

February 16, 2018 - February 17, 2018 @ Birch Island Resort, Bar & Grill,

Ride the snowmobile trails or drive your vehicle to designated locations and collect cards for the best poker hand; register at 3-Mile Corner, Birch Island Resort, Corner Connection or at the Elk River Pioneer Picnic which starts at 11 a.m. Saturday at Russo’s Hill on Trail #80/#12 southwest of Wilson Lake or at N7375 Carpenter Creek Road. Everyone is invited to sit around the campfire or in the warming house and enjoy a brat or sandwich & snacks, warm up with some coffee or hot chocolate, or have a cold one. There are several businesses participating in addition to the registration stops listed above. Entries must be turned in by 8 p.m. Saturday at Birch Island Resort, Bar & Grill on Wilson Lake. There will be refreshments and raffles while the cards are drawn for the poker hands. Look for posters at participating area businesses. This is a snowmobile club public event. Everyone is welcome to attend. All proceeds go towards club expenses for maintaining the trails.

6.     Soo Lake Resort Fisheree

February 17, 2018, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM @ Soo Lake Resort,

Enjoy a fun day out on the frozen pond and try your luck at catching the longest fish in the following five (5) categories: walleye, northern, perch, bluegill & crappie; prizes for 1st & 2nd place; entrance fee is $10 per person (100% payback); adult & kids categories; tickets can be purchased at The Restaurant at Soo Lake Resort anytime up until 8am the day of the tournament. Food & beverages will be available all day including biscuits & gravy!

7.     Northwoods Hi-Riders One-Day Poker Run

February 24, 2018, 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM @ Comfort Cove Resort on Solberg Lake,

Join the Northwoods Hi-Riders Snowmobile Club for a one-day poker run. Pick up sheets at Comfort Cove Resort starting at 11 a.m.; $10.00 per sheet. Ride or drive to any of the 17 local participating establishments to draw a card, which is then marked on your sheet. Participants can purchase multiple sheets; one card draw per sheet at each establishment. All sheets must be turned in by 6 p.m. the day of event at Comfort Cove to be eligible for cash awards; guaranteed 3-place pay out for the best poker hands. This is a snowmobile club fundraiser and everyone is welcome to attend. All proceeds will go towards trail maintenance and club expenses.

8.     Sportsmen's Expo & Wild Game Feed

February 24, 2018, 2:00 PM @ Ogema Baptist Church - Convention Hall,

The Northern Outdoorsmen for Christ (NOC) invite you join them for their 10th annual FREE Wild Game Feed and Sportsmen’s Expo including 20 vendors from 2-5 p.m., a seminar at 3 p.m., Trophies of Grace Presentation at 4 p.m., meal at 5 p.m., keynote speaker at 6 p.m, and prize giveaways at 7 p.m. The wild game feed includes several entrées to choose from as well as side dishes, homemade pies, & beverages. Feel free to bring a specialty wild game entrée of your own to share, or just come and enjoy the evening. Men, women and children of all ages are welcome. Participants age 12 & older will be entered in a FREE prize drawing for a chance to win a wide variety of great prizes!
