Photography clinic at Horicon Marsh Education and Visitor Center Oct. 26
HORICON, Wis. -- Join landscape photographer Dave Edwards for a free photography workshop at the Horicon Marsh Education and Visitor Center on Saturday, Oct. 26 from 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
“Horicon Marsh is an amazing natural wonder just waiting for people to take fantastic photographs to share the beauty and preserve the memory,” said Liz Herzmann, Horicon wildlife educator. “No registration is required and anyone is welcome to attend.”
The schedule is as follows:
9 - 9:15 Intro
9:15 - 10 "Taking Better Images" (examples of landscapes, nature, etc.)
10 - 10:15 Break
10:15 - 10:30 Open/General Discussion/Q&A
10:30 - 11 "Iphoneography" (capturing images with your cell phone)
11 - 11:15 Open/General Discussion/Q&A
11:15 - 11:30 Final Comments/Break
11:30 - 12:30 Optional field trip (on site) and time for one-on-one critique of photos
Also on Saturday, Oct. 26, join wildlife educators from 1 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. for a “Wildlife Snapshots” program. Bring your family and your camera for a guided wildlife hike with opportunities to take home some great photos of the marsh.
