Passionate about deer? Let your voice be heard at your local County Deer Advisory Council meeting this month!

October is an important month for deer management in Wisconsin. County Deer Advisory Councils will be developing preliminary population objective recommendations—and they want to hear from you!

Most council meetings will take place between Oct. 20 and Oct. 30. For all meeting dates, times and locations, visit dnr.wi.gov and keyword “CDAC.” Under the Fall 2014 tab, click on the County Deer Advisory Council Meetings link.

You can choose to speak or submit written comments at the meeting or prior to the public comment period, and you may also contact your CDAC Chair with any additional comments. Those unable to attend their county’s meeting can view meeting minutes on the department’s website.

Contact information is available on the CDAC Web page under the member resources tab, or through this CDAC contact list.

Thank you for your interest in deer management!
