Outdoor Recreation Alliance Ribbon Cutting and Summer Party

The Upper Hixon Trails is where you need to be next Wednesday, July 25th from 4pm-8pm! Whether you helped build the first trails or are just realizing there’s an “upper” Hixon, join us next Wednesday, because this party is for you!
What you can expect: Official ribbon cutting for the new trails built by Rock Solid Trail Contracting, food trucks, music, bikes to demo, kids games and race, guided trail tours on bike or foot, raffle prizes, and the winner of a Trek Fuel EX 9.9 announced! Smith’s Short Track Series will also be taking place later in the evening, so come be a part of the action whether racing or spectating! Arrive to the party on a bike and you’ll be entered into a drawing for some sweet outdoor gear. Spread the word and see you at THE trail party of the summer!
The City of La Crosse Park & Recreation Department, in partnership with Outdoor Recreation alliance, partnered to rebuild of shared use trails damaged in floods from 2017. They hired Rock Solid Trail Contractors, out of Copper Harbor, MI, who are nationally renowned for their high quality, modern bike optimized trails. Since formed in 2014, they have become recognized as one of the highest quality mountain bike trail building companies in the country through their dedication to building the best trails in the industry.
