Online chat Oct. 23 focuses on reforestation, seedling availability, planting and management
As autumn begins to clamp down on the fields and forests of Wisconsin, the Wisconsin reforestation program is preparing to offer thousands of native conifers, hardwoods and shrubs for sale to the citizens and landowners of Wisconsin. For more than 100 years the state’s nurseries have endeavored to ensure a consistent supply of high quality seedlings, of desirable species, at an economical price to encourage reforestation in Wisconsin. Whether landowners are interested in managing their tree seedlings for timber products, wildlife habitat, erosion control or aesthetics, the nursery staff is ready to assist. Join DNR forestry staff for a live chat on Thursday, October 23 at noon. You can join the conversation on our website or on our Facebook page. |
