New Endangered Resources eagle license plate unveiled
Join us to celebrate the launch of Wisconsin's new bald eagle license plate,
the conservation success it honors, and the foundation it will lay for the
next success.
The striking new design features a photo selected from more than 2000
entries from amateur and professional photographers alike. This Endangered
Resources specialty plate will be unveiled during a short ceremony featuring
"Glory," a live eagle found injured in the area, rehabilitated here, and now
starring in eagle education programs at the Schlitz Audubon Nature Center in
Milwaukee.
Hear from local elected officials, the Ferry Bluff Eagle Council, DNR
Secretary Cathy Stepp and DOT Secretary Mark Gottlieb. And after the event,
stick around for a meet and greet with Glory.
