Nesting season is on; Statewide birding report takes a breather
NESTING IS UNDERWAY AND SO IS OUR FIELD SEASON
Nesting season is underway and Ryan Brady, our DNR Natural Heritage Conservation biologist who compiles the statewide birding report, is out in the field early and late. He is surveying birds for the Wisconsin Breeding Bird Survey and doing other field work so his statewide birding reports will be sporadic until fall migration starts.
We thank you for your interest in Wisconsin birds and hope you've enjoyed Ryan's weekly report and fantastic photos. During this downtime, if you are looking for more Wisconsin bird news check out these newsletters and their companion Facebook pages.
