Muskie Fishing School to be held March 17 in Waunakee

11th Intermediate & Advanced Muskie Fishing School To Be Held March 17, 2012 in Waunakee!

The Capital City Chapter of Muskies, Inc. announced today that they will offer the 11th annual Intermediate and Advanced Muskie School on March 17th 2012.  This unique all-day training opportunity will be held at the Waunakee High School.

The faculty has 500 years of combined muskie fishing experience.  Students will have many classes to choose from including some not offered before.  Should statewide trolling be allowed in Wisconsin?  A pro and con discussion and presentation on this controversial topic will start things off.  Then over two-dozen classes will be offered including Muskie Fishing in Flowages (especially the Rainbow & Willow Flowages), lure demonstrations in the pool, Canadian muskies, Stocking Muskies: Density & Strains, Muskie Fishing in the Weeds, Green Bay Muskie Fishing, Madison Chain Muskies, Trolling, Making lures, basic muskie fishing, etc.

To promote youth involvement the tuition is only $5 for youth (18 or under).  Tuition for adults  is $32 (early-bird price) or $42 if fee received after March 12th, 2012.

Doors open at 7:30 a.m. and ends at 4:00 p.m.  This school is an incredibly useful and affordable opportunity to help muskie anglers learn about muskie fishing and to prepare for the 2012 season.  For more detailed information see www.capitalcitymuskiesinc.org for contacts listed above.

The Capital City Chapter of Muskies Inc. is a volunteer organization established in 1983 and has over 350 members residing primarily in central Wisconsin [www.capitalcitymuskiesinc.org] and in conjunction with other local fishing clubs has donated over $30,000 to stock muskies in local lakes.
