INTERESTING FACTS
· ISA Executive Director, Jim Skiera, is a native of Wisconsin. Jim’s father, Bob Skiera, was a pioneer of urban forestry in Milwaukee. Bob served as the city forester from 1973-1990 and was a past-president of ISA.
· Milwaukee was the site of the 2001 International Tree Climbing Championship (ITCC), which was the first year that female climbers competed in the international event.
· The ISA Annual International Conference attracts 1000-2000 attendees and generates an estimated $5M in spending.
