Lemon Street Gallery: 25 Years of Creativity Exhibit on Display in Kenosha August 17 - October 27
The Lemon Street Gallery: 25 Years of Creativity exhibit will be on display at the Kenosha Public Museum from August 17 through October 27. The exhibit celebrates a quarter century of artistic excellence by local artists. This retrospective showcases the rich history and diverse talent of Lemon Street Gallery's artists. From painting and sculpture to mixed media and photography, explore the vibrant creativity that has defined this beloved community art space in Kenosha.
A free public reception to celebrate this exhibit and the Acrylic International Biennial Juried Exhibition, which will run concurrently, will be held from 1-4pm on Saturday, September 14. Mingle with artists, enjoy insightful discussion about their creative processes, and gain a deeper appreciation for the works on display.
Join artists for a deeper insight into their process on Lemon Street Saturdays. During these free gallery talks, artists give a firsthand look into their techniques and stories behind the art. All Lemon Street Saturday Gallery Talks are from 1-2pm. Here is the schedule: August 24 - Glass and Jewelry; September 7 - Acrylic and Watercolor; September 28 - Ceramics and Sculpture; October 12 - Printmaking, Photography, and Mixed Media.
The Kenosha Public Museum is located at 5500 1st Avenue. The museum’s hours are Mon.-Sat. 10am-5pm, Sun. 12-5pm.; closed holidays. General admission is free. Lemon Street Gallery & ArtSpace is located at 4601 Sheridan Road in the Union Park Arts District. It’s open Thurs.-Sat. 11am-5pm, Sun. 11am-4pm, or by appointment.
