Join DNR staff for upcoming livechats and get ready for another fall deer hunt

MADISON - Hunters looking to prepare for another Wisconsin deer hunt and embrace new traditions are reminded to join Department of Natural Resources staff for a livechat Thursday, Aug. 4 at noon.

While Thursday's chat provides the nearest opportunity to prepare for time in the field, additional livechats will be held in August and November:

  *   Thursday, Aug. 4 - tag availability, antlerless tags, and finding a place to hunt;
  *   Wednesday, Aug. 10 - new regulations and hunting season forecast;
  *   Tuesday, Aug. 16 - mentored hunt, learn to hunt, and hunt to eat programs; and
  *   Thursday, Nov. 10 - safety and regulations ("ask us anything").

Each chat will begin at noon - to view a full chat schedule and check out previous chats, visitdnr.wi.gov and search keyword "expert<http://dnr.wi.gov/chat/expert.html>."
