Independence Day Celebration in Manitowish Waters
4th of July isn’t just about the parade, it’s also about creating unforgettable memories with friends and family! Come to Manitowish Waters on Monday, July 4th to kick off Independence Day by starting those memorable moments at some of our fun events!
What events you ask? Well, starting at 9am you can stop by the Manitowish Waters Community Center and visit the variety of vendors at the Arts & Craft Fair. Feeling a little hungry? Enjoy a strawberry shortcake by the MW Lioness, Lions sponsored ice cold beverages, Sno Skeeters Food Booth, raffles and so much more!
What about the kids? We have that covered, kids will enjoy the trout pond, playground, craft project and the enormous game tent filled with prizes for all. The annual Fourth of July Parade will begin at 1 pm in downtown Manitowish Waters and end at the intersection of Hwy 51 and Hwy W. After the parade head back to the Community Center for more fun. At 4:30pm you can head to Greer’s Pier as the “Super Heroes Invade the MW Chain” Boat Parade starts or head over for music at Koller Park for a fantastic show by Big Road. The day will close out with a fantastic FREE Skiing Skeeters Water Ski Show at 7 pm and fireworks to follow at dusk, both will be located at Rest Lake Park. There is something for everyone so come and enjoy the day at Manitowish Waters!
