Help WI birds count: Register for April 1-3 bird survey conference

The state’s most comprehensive bird survey, the Wisconsin Breeding Bird Atlas is about to begin its second year of data collection and we need more volunteers to help us get an accurate picture of the abundance and distribution of our breeding birds. The information you gather while you enjoy birding will shape bird conservation efforts for the next generation.

Join now and register for the season 2 kickoff meeting April 1-3 in Wausau area

Birders from around the state will gather at the Stoney Creek Hotel & Conference Center in Rothschild for a weekend of field trips, specialized training for both first-time and returning Atlas volunteers, tips from birding experts and a chance to swap stories at a Birds & Beers.

Early Bird registration ends March 12

Sign up for the Kickoff by March 12 for the best rate -- $25 includes all presentations, work shops, field trips and even Saturday lunch and a handy Atlas logo cup.
