Harrington Beach State Park seeks campground hosts
BELGIUM, Wis. -- Harrington Beach State Park is seeking volunteers to serve as campground hosts during the months of June and August 2015. Individuals and/or teams (such as husband and wife) at least 18 years old are eligible to apply. Hosts serve for one month and are eligible to receive a campsite at no cost.
Hosts are park ambassadors and model campers, volunteer at least 25 hours per week, provide assistance to campers, and perform light janitorial and maintenance duties. Hosts understand, and are able to explain, park rules and regulations and work with park staff to ensure camper compliance.
Hosts are screened and interviewed by the property manager and selection is based on familiarity with the Wisconsin State Park System, camping experience, customer service experience, and knowledge of the area and availability.
