Explore La Crosse is excited and proud to announce Haleigh Doyle the Director of Media & Marketing at Explore La Crosse as the winner of the 'Rising Star Award' for the Wisconsin Governor's Conference on Tourism (WIGCOT) 2024 on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.
The Rising Star Award, recognizes individuals who are new to the industry who have shown leadership, commitment, and passion for Wisconsin tourism. Nominees should have five or fewer years in the industry.
Haleigh Doyle is a graduate of UW-La Crosse with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing with an Art & Graphics Concentration. She began her tourism career in November of 2019 when she was hired as the Director of Media and Marketing at the La Crosse County Convention & Visitors Bureau, dba Explore La Crosse. Immersed quickly into the industry and immediately making positive strides for the La Crosse Region, she had to completely change tactics and carefully traverse marketing the destination through a pandemic. Haleigh gracefully and tactfully led marketing efforts to continue to drive visitors to the region while respectfully honoring the safety of residents. She set examples on how to market a DMO during this time and has continued to do so coming out of the pandemic. Haleigh has spearheaded essential marketing campaigns, been awarded various grants, and launched innovative projects to promote the beauty and festive spirit of the La Crosse Region. As a leader, mentor, and mother of two boys, she is a trailblazer in her industry.
