DNR chat set to answer questions about Breeding Bird Atlas findings & fall migration
In just more than six months, 700 atlas volunteers documented an astounding 1.7 million birds of 229 species that are either possible or confirmed Wisconsin breeders. Their discoveries also include eight species nesting here that weren't found 15 years ago and range shifts in others, such as the wild turkey.
