Frozen Chosen DVDs ready for sale!
Dear Winnebago System Sturgeon Enthusiasts:
Prior to the 2014 sturgeon spearing season I had sent out an email about a documentary entitled the Frozen Chosen. This documentary covers the sport of sturgeon spearing and captures the importance of the spearing season for two local families. Steve Boettcher and his crew did an outstanding job on this film, while also capturing the culture and tradition behind the sport quite well. The DVDs are now ready for sale and orders can be purchased through the link below. As stated on the website, a portion of the proceeds from film sales will be donated to Sturgeon For Tomorrow, a local conservation group advocating for the preservation and enhancement of sturgeon resources.
