Great ice conditions on most Washburn County lakes has made easy access for ice fishermen this winter. Bluegills, crappies and pike have been bitting well across the area. Most anglers are fishing weed edges and jigging for panfish while setting out tip ups for pike along the flats. Waxies for 'gills and crappies, shinners for pike have been the baits of choice.
