Fall Into Fun Festival: October 12, 2024

KENOSHA – Look for some family-friendly fun on Saturday, October 12 at Veterans Memorial Park outside City Hall, 625 52nd St. The Fall Into Fun Festival takes place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., with free activities, contests, prizes, music and more. The event is sponsored by the City of Kenosha and the Lakeshore Business Improvement District, with support from community partners including Kenosha Fiber City, T-Mobile Fiber, Jerry Smith Farm, Visit Kenosha and the Kenosha Public Market.

The details:

  • Midwest DJ Productions will be spinning tunes kids will enjoy, and hosting fun contests for prizes.
  • Kids can pick up a free small pumpkin (while supplies last), donated by Jerry Smith Farm, at the Kenosha Public Market information booth.
  • Maggie Mae Creations will have supplies and ideas for creating fun decorated pumpkins at the blue and white canopies in the park near the stage.
  • The Girl Scouts of Wisconsin Southeast will be on hand with games, activities and cookie samples.
  • Free face painting at the blue and white canopies in the park near the stage.
  • Visit Kenosha and the Lakeshore Business Improvement District are hosting costume contests for a chance to win prizes in categories for kids, teens, adults and even dogs. Judging begins promptly at noon.
  • Stroll through downtown to check out the decorated storefront window displays.

 

Free parking is available throughout downtown, including the parking ramp on Eighth Avenue and 56th Street.
