Regional Tourism Specialist Drew Nussbuam will be dropping off over 1500 items for Wisconsin Department of Tourism’s “Big Bundle Up”

This is the seventh year of the Big Bundle Up. To date, the program has collected more than 103,400 warm winter items to help families in need. In addition to Explore La Crosse, other collection sites, including Travel Wisconsin Welcome Centers, are located throughout the state. Visit TravelWisconsin.com for a full listing of donation sites.
With the spirit of the holiday season upon us, donating winter items is the perfect way to give to families in need across the state. A box will be located at Explore La Crosse in Riverside Park AND the WI Welcome Center at Rest Area 31 on French Island, La Crosse for donors to drop off warm clothing items. All items donated at this location will be given to Family and Children’s Center.

WHAT: Collecting coats, sweaters, hats, mittens and other warm clothing items to donate to local charities this winter season.
WHEN: Nov. 28, 2017 – Jan. 2, 2018, 8AM-4:30, M-F in Riverside Parkand 8am-noon 7 days a week at the WI Welcome Center on French Island
