Explore La Crosse Opens Satellite Visitors Information Center

Great River Landing | Onalaska, WI

  

Explore La Crosse now hosts a staffed Visitors Information Center at the Great River Landing. The Landing situated on Wisconsin’s Great River Road, serves as the trailhead for the Great River State Trail which connects 101 miles of interconnecting state bicycle trails, and offers access to the 120-acre ecologically diverse Wittenberg Marsh, the Onalaska Spillway, the Black and Mississippi Rivers, and Lake Onalaska.

A Grand Opening will be held Tuesday June 19, 2018 from 4pm to 6pm at the Great River Landing, 107 S Court St, located at the end of Main St. in Onalaska across from Dash-Park and David Reay's Modern Diner + Tavern.

The new Visitors Information Center is a collaboration between The City of Onalaska Park & Recreation Department and the La Crosse County Convention and Visitors Bureau (Explore La Crosse). 

This is the 3rd Visitors Information Center in La Crosse County run by Explore La Crosse including the State Welcome Center Rest Area 31, and the Main Office located in Riverside Park

The Great River Landing Visitors Information Center is open 10am to 4pm Monday - Sunday.
