Deer Management Assistance Program application period closing March 1

There’s still time to apply for DMAP in 2015!  Applications for 2015 enrollment at Level 2 or 3 are being accepted until March 1.

If you are considering ways to improve your property for deer and other wildlife, the Deer Management Assistance Program is still accepting applications for the 2015 enrollment cycle.  DMAP provides guidance and tools to help landowners and land managers address deer, wildlife, and habitat management needs. New in 2015, applications will be accepted for both public and private lands.

If you plan to enroll 160 acres or more at Level 2 or 3, applications must be submitted by March 1 in order to receive enrollment benefits in 2015.  However, applications may be submitted at any time for future enrollment consideration.

It’s easy to learn more or apply online through dnr.wi.gov, keyword “DMAP.”
