Deer Fest 2016 in the Books
On Wisconsin Outdoors sends a trophy-class thank you to everyone who hoofed their way to Deer Fest at the Washington County Fairgrounds last weekend. We had a fantastic time giving out copies of the paper and meeting a host of like-minded hunters.
There were more than enough displays and vendors on the grounds to make a tangled cedar swamp seem an easy place to navigate in comparison. Everyone had a blast losing themselves in the memories of past hunts in the aisles and booths and, perhaps more importantly, planning strategies and plotting positions for endless hunts to come.
Producing On Wisconsin Outdoors would be pretty boring without the readers. And without the enthusiasm of the hunters, Wisconsin deer hunting would be no fun at all. Thanks again to everyone who stopped by. Next stop, the rustling deer woods of autumn.
