Public meetings set on changes to Brule River and other northern forest master plans

Public informational hearing for Milwaukee Basin study to improve water quality
MILWAUKEE - The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources will conduct a public informational hearing on Nov. 15, 2016and is accepting public comments through Dec. 9, 2016 on a draft plan to reduce phosphorus and other pollutants in the Menomonee, Kinnickinnic and Milwaukee rivers. - Read Full Article
Natural Resources Board to meet October 26 in Madison
MADISON - A request for the approval of recommendations for the third phase of land sales under the direction of the 2013-15 state biennial budget bill, a request to initiate the master planning process for the Totogatic Wildlife Area and a request to initiate the scoping process for proposed rules related to updating Wisconsin's antidegradation policy are among the items the state Natural Resources Board will address when it meets October 26 in Madison. - Read Full Article
