DNR MEDIA ADVISORY: Online chat Oct. 14, 12 p.m., on Deer Trustee Report implementation

In advance of public hearings later this month on proposed rules for implementation of the Deer Trustee Report recommendations, the Department of Natural Resources is hosting a live online chat to answer questions and collect feedback from the public. The chat will be held Monday, Oct. 14, starting at 12 p.m.

To participate, visit the DNR home page, dnr.wi.gov, look for the box on the right to enter the chat, or search the phrase "ask the experts.” You can also join the conversation via DNR’s Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/WIDNR. Click the “Cover it Live Chat” box on the top of the page.

The department will host 35 public hearings throughout the state between Oct. 22 and Oct. 31. For more information, including hearing locations, and to review the proposed rules package, visit dnr.wi.gov and search keywords “deer trustee report.”
