Canadian Pacific Railway's Holiday Train Plans Annual Stop in La Crosse

Holiday Train Plans Stop in La Crosse
Proceeds Benefit the La Crosse Hunger Task Force

Saturday, December 8th
8:45 PM - 9:30 PM
Amtrak Station -  601 St. Andrew Street
La Crosse, WI 54601
Join us this Saturday, December 8th, as we welcome The Canadian Pacific Railway's Holiday Train to La Crosse. The train will be arriving at the La Crosse Amtrak Station located at 601 St. Andrew Street at approximately 8:45 PM. and will be departing at 9:30 PM.
2018 marks the 20th year of the Holiday Train's operation. Since 1999, the Holiday Train has raised more than $12 million and 3.9 million pounds of food for North American food banks. Anything raised in a community stays in that community. In addition, Canadian Pacific makes donations at each stop.
This event is successful each year because of our generous sponsors. Families will be able to enjoy hot chocolate, coffee, soda or water as well as holiday cookies. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be handing out candy canes and greeting families.
Music will be provided by Kelly Wilde of La Crosse Media Group as well as special Holiday Train performances by The Trews and Willie Porter.
The Hunger Task Force is this year’s recipient of non-perishable food items and monetary donations. Admission is free but we ask for a monetary donation or healthy, non-perishable, food items to benefit local families in need. Join us to celebrate and make 2018 the best yet!
