Explore La Crosse is excited to announce that the Coulee Rock Club will hold its Annual Rock, Gem, and Mineral Show, weekend of June 14 & 15, 2025 (Sat. 10:00am-5:00pm) and (Sun. 10:00am-4:00pm) at the Omni Center located off of highway 35 on 255 Riders Club Road, Onalaska Wisconsin.
It is a show with unique and interesting treasures to be found with a long standing tradition of having family fun in the region. It is of interest to folks that like nature, rock and gem crafts, and the rock hobby in general. A Kids Korner holds fun and exciting things to do for little and big kids alike! Spin the rock wheel and win a prize and a “Fish for Fossils” booth where you never know what type of fossil you might catch.
There will be 20+ dealers offering fine specimens from around the world, including an exciting array of minerals with beautiful colors and captivating crystal formations, agates, fine jewelry, plant and animal fossils, polished, cut and rough stones, lapidary supplies, rock books, and much more.
In addition, the club operates a silent auction table with a changing array of rock specimens and items, many to be had at bargain prices. There will be drawings for rock related door prizes and demonstrations to show attendees how to make arrow heads by flint knapping.
Want to make jewelry, there will be jewelry wire wrapping demonstrations as well.
