Bluebird birdhouse building workshop at Kohler-Andrae State Park
SHEBOYGAN, Wis. - People interested in attracting bluebirds to their backyard can learn more about the habitat that will attract them at a Bluebird Birdhouse Workshop Saturday, March 14 at Kohler-Andrea State Park.
Participants will join volunteers from the park for a short program address and then ask questions. Then they will assemble birdhouses from kits which cost $7. Participants are asked to bring a hammer if they have one. The workshop runs from 1 to 2:30 p.m.
Pre-registration is encouraged, but walk-ins are also welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Participants should stop at the park office to pay for their birdhouse kit. Other than the cost of the birdhouse kit, the workshop is free, but a state park admission sticker is required for entry into the park.
Admission stickers may be purchased at the park office at cost of $25 for an annual pass or $7 for a daily pass.
