Bald eagle release set for Feb. 8 in Prairie du Sac
The bald eagle release originally scheduled for Bald Eagle Watching Days Jan. 17-18 has been rescheduled to Feb. 8, 2020. Marge Gibson of Raptor Education Group, Inc. is planning on releasing several bald eagles that have been recovering at the REGI clinic in Antigo. REGI has been a tremendous partner safeguarding Wisconsin's healthy and growing eagle population.
The release will occur at 1 p.m. Feb. 8 at VFW Memorial Park, 700 VFW Drive, Prairie du Sac, WI 53578.
