April Showers Bring May Flowers 💐 🌂 Spring Is Here 2024

Sparta Garden Club has been Cultivating Flowers and Kindness Since 1953! Last year they celebrated 70 years and they are growing strong! The Sparta Garden Club has new outreach, committees, and activities planned for this year and growing forward, including: Plant Trees With Kids Program; Sparta Garden Club’s New Children’s Branch; Sparta 4th of July Bicycle & Flowers Parade; a Rose Garden and an Oak Grove to remember their matriarchs; a Community Garden; working with schools, businesses and homeowners to plant pollinator gardens, thereby getting Sparta on the habitat restoration map with the Homegrown National Park program; ongoing civic beautification at Beaver Creek, Amundson Park, The Sparta Free Library, and more; informative and engaging monthly meetings; affordable annual dues of $10 per member + 10 hours of volunteer work with incentives; the chance to learn more about plants, make friends, and enjoy gardening together. The Sparta Garden Club features two duplicate meetings, at 1:30PM and again at 6pm, to accommodate different schedules. They always have a variety of fun ways to get their hands and garden gloves dirty with learning and volunteering in a fun atmosphere-
