Already thinking about deer season? So are we.

Whether you're checking out a new wildlife area to hunt or eyeing a new blind, it's never too early to start planning for your next hunt.

This April, you can help your fellow hunters by helping to plan the 2019 deer season.

In the past few weeks, County Deer Advisory Councils have held public meetings in each county to develop preliminary recommendations concerning the 2019 deer hunting season.

Now we want to hear from you! The public comment period is open now through midnight on April 11.

We've made giving your input fast and convenient with our online public comment tool. You can click the button below or go to dnr.wi.gov and search keyword "CDAC."

CDACS are meeting again April 15-18. Meetings are open to the public, and we encourage you to attend. You can find information on your local CDAC’s next meetingon our website. Meeting details are also available on our Facebook page.

Be sure to follow DNR on FacebookInstagram and YouTube for more! Share your photos, stories and feedback and show why you enjoy spending time in the outdoors.
