The 2014 deer hunting season might be months away, but planning is underway right now. Attend a Deer Hunter Forum at this year’s spring fish and game hearings on April 14. It’s a great opportunity to learn about new deer hunting rules, hear a status report on your local herd, and ask question. To find a location near you, search "Spring Hearings" on the DNR website. Don’t wish to attend a hearing? Go to the DNR’s website and type in key word “Deer Hunter Forum" to access information about your favorite deer management unit and how you can provide your personal input right from home.
